Python training from your first script, through to advanced work: the language, data analysis with pandas and Polars, testing, automation, and SQL. Courses run for newcomers to programming and for experienced developers moving to Python.
AI Charmers
AI and machine learning
Technical AI and machine learning training for the people who build the systems and code with the models: machine learning foundations, deep learning with PyTorch, large language models, and the engineering that keeps a model working once it is in production.
Custom and Specialised Training
In addition to our standard course offerings, we can produce custom training for your organisation on any related topic. If we are not experts in the area, we will find the experts and work with them. We start from what your team already knows and what they need to do, then design a course around it, using your datasets and your problems.
We can also run our standard courses privately for your company. This works well for team training and team bonding, and lets senior staff support the juniors' learning while still learning themselves. Our courses are collaborative and enjoyable, and focused on delivering practical outcomes for participants.
Where a course needs groundwork first, we take on consulting to develop the material and understand the systems it has to cover.
Who We Are
Expert-led specialist technical training since 2009
Data Charmers is an Australian company with offices in Melbourne and Singapore. We run two specialist training brands: Python Charmers and AI Charmers.
Since 2009 we have delivered over 700 courses to more than 7,000 people in 40 cities. We ask everyone for feedback afterwards: across every single response, not a cherry-picked sample, 98% would recommend us and 93% would come back for more training.
Our trainers are expert practitioners with deep roots in the open source community. They teach the tools they use, and they are what participants rate most highly. 99.5% agree their trainer had a firm grasp of the content.
Courses are hands-on and taught in small groups. Participants write code from the first session and leave with work they understand. We focus on ensuring practical outcomes, with extensive exercises throughout the course, while ensuring participants have a firm grasp of the theory as well.
